Our short film series “Economy in terms” and “Economy in Everyday Life” explain economic issues briefly and concisely in appealing videos. From explanations of basic economic terms to the simplified representations of different interrelationships of familiar everyday situations.

In cooperation with IÖB, the Oldenburg economic association “DER KLEINE KREIS e. V.” regularly publishes brochures in the “Citizens and Citizens Representative Information” series dealing with current economic policy issues.
Events
1x1 of the Economy
Together with the wigy e. V. and in cooperation with the Nordwest-Zeitung (NWZ), the IÖB organizes once a year the public lecture series "1x1 der Wirtschaft" for citizens of the region.
Discourses on the Future
Public discourses in society, business and politics often have an economic dimension. The project "Discourses on the Future" conveyed basic economic knowledge to the population and reduced deficits in the economic sciences in the transfer of knowledge. The results serve as a basis for out-of-school knowledge transfer.
