The OX-Lab as a learning space and research infrastructure
The Oldenburg Experimental Laboratory for Economic Education (OX-Lab) is one of the first teaching-learning laboratories specializing in didactics of Economic Education in Germany. Learning provisions are targeted at educational establishments and interested learning groups. The laboratory is supervised by the Institute for Economic Education at the University of Oldenburg. In keeping with the motto “learning Economics in the lab”, the teaching-learning laboratory is where teaching content is developed in an action-oriented manner using the method of experiments. The lab provides a space where teaching content is conveyed through interactive learning packages. The OX-Lab is also used for specialist didactic research, e.g. for experimental intervention studies.
